On Tuesday, BCCI announced the Asia Cup for India’s senior men’s team for the upcoming Asian Cricket Council Men’s Asia Cup, which will be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Behind the stumps, Sanju Samson is set to be India’s preferred wicketkeeper, with strong indications that he will feature as an opener in the upcoming clash against the UAE on September 8.
The all-round department remains in safe hands, with Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel, both of whom were instrumental during the T20 World Cup, expected to play key roles once again.
Spearheading the pace attack will be Jasprit Bumrah, supported by Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana, giving India a balanced and threatening bowling unit.
If India encounters slow or turning pitches, the spin department could prove decisive. Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav are expected to play pivotal roles in such conditions, while Axar Patel’s versatility makes him an additional threat on those surfaces.
